CFB Public Bets

Betting Insights: How the Public is Wagering on Florida State vs. Georgia Tech

We are debuting a new big game post type for each weekend of the college football betting season. The goal is to provide our readers with a more complete public betting view of the big matchups during the season.

For week 0, the focus is on the Florida State vs. Georgia Tech in Dublin Ireland. The #10 ranked Seminoles are receiving a ton of CFP hype, but bettors are not overwhelmingly supporting FSU in the opener.

** SATURDAY MORNING 8/24/24/UPDATE

DraftKings Public Bets FSU vs. GA Tech

The betting line has moved from FSU -13 when it opened a few months back, to -10.5. Over the past 2-3 weeks we have seen spread tickets lean more towards GA Tech at DraftKing, but the overall spread bet handle is still strong on FSU at 75%.

Overnight into Saturday morning we finally saw more FSU spread bet ticket movement to around 64%. We expect nothing but FSU money heading into kick-off.

Pikkit Users Now Lean FSU On Spread Bets

Of all the sites we track for college football public betting money data, Pikkit has the least amount of action on FSU based on spread bets. As you can see, the ML action is still heavy on FSU.

With that being said, overnight Friday into Saturday did see the FSU spread bet percentage move 50% to 57% on the Seminoles. UNDER action has been strong on Pikkit for this game from the start of tracking.

Covers Readers Are All In On Florida St.

Covers does not have the volume of picks it once had years ago, but it can still provide a solid read on how bettors are leaning for the FSU vs. GA Tech tilt.

64% of the action is on Florida State.

Pregame Readers Back Florida St and the Under

Pregame and Pikkit users have strong strong support to the UNDER in this matchup. We also see FSU once again seeing the majority of action on Pregame.
